I decided to create this post specifically so you guys can post in the comments if you're looking for someone to go to a spa with, or meet up there, or whatever... makes it a lot easier than going through all the previous posts to see if people have posted there. So if you're planning to go and want to meet people there, you can post (or look) here instead!
A few guidelines...
(1) Post some information about yourself...physical description, age, ethnicity, interests and hobbies... I really don't care. I'm not going to force you to reveal everything about yourself, but I'm not going to drive all the way to Koreatown to hang out with someone that I know absolutely nothing about.
(2) Sign your name, nickname, user name, whatever you make up to identify yourself. It makes it a lot easier to reply to you, as opposed to "hey, third person to reply to this comment"
(3) Be specific...
GOOD: "I'll be at Century Spa from 7pm-11pm tonight (Nov. 2), wearing a black digital sports watch and my key on my left ankle. And carrying a green water bottle."
BAD: "I'll be at the spa tonight. I'm the guy with a towel. Say hi!"
(4) If you want to talk to someone privately, leave some kind of contact information! It can be a blogger profile that you're logged into, an adam4adam or dudesnude profile, your email address, whatever. One idea is to post something on Craigslist... when you do that, they give you a throwaway temporary email address that forwards to your own email... it's useful if you don't want to post your email address here.
(5) Maybe make some mention of your expectations. If you're looking to jerk off (or more), say so. If you absolutely don't want to do anything sexual and just want to hang out nude with other guys, say so. Not everyone is going there for the same thing. Also remember that Korean spas are not sex clubs, so please consider moving it someplace else if there's mutual interest, and be respectful of those who don't want to see sexual activity.
(6) Be respectful. Don't be racist, ageist, etc... Remember that this isn't your private home, and you can't just tell a certain class of people that they're not welcome.
(7) Don't ask "What is [insert spa name here] like?"... I've written a LOT of reviews on this website, so why not read them first? Reviewed spas:

ReplyDeleteI went a few years ago and guys mostly wear their towels unless getting in the jacuzzi or showering. The sauna is such that when you open the door you are not in the main room of the sauna for a few steps - and I did see some guys JOing until the door would open

ReplyDeleteQuick update on Thera Spa... it is def open and has a 2 hr limit. New spa rates are $25, with $55 for a scrub and $70 for massage. Went there Sunday afternoon and while it was wasnt crowded, it was mostly older men just enjoying the spa as is. The place def looks cleaner and there are no more smells in the dry or wet sauna areas. Met a younger guy and proceeded to have some uninterrupted fun in the saunas but overall, it was relaxing and just glad it's back in business! No more drives to Pioneer or Imperial for this south oc resident :)

DeleteYes there is a guy for massages but I couldn't seem to find the original guy. There is another that is doing the cleaning and not sure if he is also doing the massage. The oil massage is done in a separate room and not in the wet area.

ReplyDeleteWilshire has been pretty good these last few weeks. Perhaps lowered expectations, but there's at least a few athletic-looking guys and plenty opportunity to play.
Way more with the money if you can't really play at Century :(
Yes, the steam room is good now but the hot guys are gone. I don't see a lot like before and they have no opportunity to play because the steam room always full with people who waiting for the action lol. If you buy 10 passes is $230 at Century compare to Wilshire $25 for a day pass? I haven't been there after re-opening so I don't know. Century facilities is the BEST.

ReplyDeleteI’m looking to get a body scrub, but deathly afraid of getting hard in the process. How is this handled? I went to wi spa and saw that the body scrub area is pretty much open for everyone to see.
ReplyDeleteIf you go to any of the spas here, they are used to seeing everything. There is a small, skinny, older guy in his 60's, that used to work at Lions Spa, and now works at Century. The best scrub! Also, Carlos at Wilshire gives great scrubs and he is definitely used to hardons.
DeleteFrom my experience, I think it is rather hard (no pun intended) to get a hard on from a body scrub. With them scrubbing you down, they aren't necessarily caressing you. The touch is usually direct and to the point. The only times I have gotten a hard on is when the scrubber intentionally is doing it to get you hard.
DeleteBut otherwise, I think a hard on is nothing new to the scrubber. They've seen it all. So I would not worry too much.
I agree with Sbcasualgamer. If they are focused on the scrub, then nothing will happen. But I've had scrubs where the scrubber spends extra time there and that's when I get aroused, but it's intentional on the scrubber's part.
