NOTE: I started a new post because the other one was getting too full of comments! So use this one instead.
ALSO NOTE: As of this posting, most spas are closed due to the pandemic. The only ones that I'm aware of being open are Hyundae Spa and Hacienda Joy Spa.
I decided to create this post specifically so you guys can post in the comments if you're looking for someone to go to a spa with, or meet up there, or whatever... makes it a lot easier than going through all the previous posts to see if people have posted there. So if you're planning to go and want to meet people there, you can post (or look) here instead!
A few guidelines...
(1) Post some information about yourself...physical description, age, ethnicity, interests and hobbies... I really don't care. I'm not going to force you to reveal everything about yourself, but I'm not going to drive all the way to Koreatown to hang out with someone that I know absolutely nothing about.
(2) Sign your name, nickname, user name, whatever you make up to identify yourself. It makes it a lot easier to reply to you, as opposed to "hey, third person to reply to this comment"
(3) Be specific...
GOOD: "I'll be at Century Spa from 7pm-11pm tonight (Nov. 2), wearing a black digital sports watch and my key on my left ankle. And carrying a green water bottle."
BAD: "I'll be at the spa tonight. I'm the guy with a towel. Say hi!"
(4) If you want to talk to someone privately, leave some kind of contact information! It can be a blogger profile that you're logged into, an adam4adam or dudesnude profile, your email address, whatever. One idea is to post something on Craigslist... when you do that, they give you a throwaway temporary email address that forwards to your own email... it's useful if you don't want to post your email address here.
(5) Maybe make some mention of your expectations. If you're looking to jerk off (or more), say so. If you absolutely don't want to do anything sexual and just want to hang out nude with other guys, say so. Not everyone is going there for the same thing. Also remember that Korean spas are not sex clubs, so please consider moving it someplace else if there's mutual interest, and be respectful of those who don't want to see sexual activity.
(6) Be respectful. Don't be racist, ageist, etc... Remember that this isn't your private home, and you can't just tell a certain class of people that they're not welcome.
(7) Don't ask "What is [insert spa name here] like?"... I've written a LOT of reviews on this website, so why not read them first? Reviewed spas:

DeleteI went a few weeks ago and the steam room and sauna weren't open. None of the hot tubs were either. Everything was turned and taped off.
DeleteA couple Korean guys stepped down into the tubs and sat in it for awhile but that was it.
The only thing you can do there is shower and lie down in the sleeping rooms.
It's not particularly sanitary either: shared soap bars, dirty towels, dirty mats.
I did have two guys work me over in the sleeping room but I probably wouldn't go back.
Doesn't sound too fun. Or safe lol

ReplyDeleteI went to Burke Williams with a friend who is a member (they had a special to get business back).
Like the Korean Spas the amenities were shut off/had signs that they were closed. But an attendant did pop his head into the steam room because he said they had found two guys "hanging out."
They had social distancing measures in place right from the start. For example, my friend and I had lockers in different sections and masks have to be worn everywhere. Only one sink could be used. With the limited lockdown coming up I think their capacity will be even lower.
Anyone know what time is best to go to joy today ?

I went to Pioneer Spa in Norwalk/Cerritos with my bi buddy. It's very clean. Cute Asian guys. Steam room is open, Hot Tub is open, and the Co-ed hot rooms are nice! It's pretty cruisey.. It was hot sucking my friend off. It's $20. No time limit. Both of us will go again..

Not a stupid question! I guess it depends on the person and the situation. For sanitary reasons I tend to prefer into towel and if there are any "spills" clean it up.

Its small and the men on squirt lie about their appearance and stuff there to get more guys there.
Imperial spa, Fullerton. (not FULLY opened, but showers are open and they allegedly give happy ending as of now)
Joy spa, Hacienda heights (WAS open and was basically a bathhouse, also men lied about their appearance to get other guys here)
Hyundai health center (WAS open , but allegedly someone died there)
Midtown is suppose to open in April.

ReplyDeleteReason I ask, I’ve been to a few of the spas that were open. Joy being one of them. Pioneer isn’t my favorite. It’s small and the owner is a real stickler about the cruiseyness. He kicks folks out and indicates that they are not welcome to return. That and he walks around the place making sure things are tame. Which sucks, that place would be totally dead were it not for the now regulars. It’s rather uncomfortable. Last night I asked if he could clean out the dry sauna and he said to me “if you see any sexual activity, please call me.” I was for reals that John Travolta meme in pulp fiction when he looks around the room in confusion. Lol
ReplyDeletePioneer is one of the only spas open right now, and the owner has made too many changes that are ruining the spa experience for everyone. For starters, he installed really bright lights in the steam room; they're bright enough that you can somewhat visibly see what's going on in the steam room from the outside. Imagine how brighter it must be on the inside. He keeps checking each room every 20 minutes or so like clockwork, and I understand that the play has gotten a bit out of hand, but no one can relax in an environment where the owner is constantly barging in. On top of that, he's also only accepting cash, which is mildly annoying.

ReplyDeleteIt’s not the cleanest but it’s cleaner than Wilshire and a few other spots. Again this is my experience:
Most of the facility was open when I last went in the late Fall. The clientele seemed a more traditional crowd, not cruisey at all. I did see one guy that was a regular at another spa, so he and I were there for an obvious reason. But it was comfortable enough to relax, less so for any discrete action. Hope this helps!

I guess they save your info if youve ever booked a massage before, including your name. Can you imagine if a married/dl guy gets this text while being with his wife/family. You cant say they got the wrong number since they know your name, unless you gave them a wrong name. Luckily I live alone but can imagine what that would be like with your significant other next to you lol.

DeleteI Spa was great! First time back at a Kspa in over a year, post vaccine decided it was time. Surprised to see NO masks inside (not sure what I was expecting or how it'd work). All facilities open excluding one steam room, with a few showers and sit-down showers taped off to ensure distancing. Had a body scrub, was lovely. Varied crowd, beautiful bodies, friendly people. Completely non-cruisy that afternoon, which was good considering a family was there. Definitely heading back.

ReplyDeleteDon't get a scrub with Alex at imperial. Now only did he "rush" through it in 15mins (suppose to be 30min at least), he scrubbed WAY too hard, I had red marks all over me. He then followed him me out to my car asking for a tip. HUGE RED FLAG!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I got one last week, he deliberately scrub super hard. I have redness and slight uncomfort for a few days. I have gotten 3-4 scrub from him previously, and last week it was different. I don't know exactly the message he is trying to give but I never wanted to play with him nor was I trying to make the scrub exotic by any means. Maybe he wants less customers? Well, he got what he wants now, Plus they just raise the price from $65 to $80. With a $20 minimum tip they expect, sorry I am not paying 100 bucks for a scrub at the moment. Maybe I am not the demographic that they are targeting. I am too poor for a scrub now...

I don't think spas will fully open until the Blueprint for a Safer Economy color coded tier system ends on June 15th. Under current restrictions, spas can operate steam rooms when the county reaches the yellow tier (LA/OC are currently in orange tier).
DeleteI went to CJ Spa in Northridge yesterday afternoon. I don't recommend. The steam room isn't steamy enough to cruise and the scene is pretty much older and straight men. There's also a 2 hour limit and the men's waterfountain is broke so you're pretty much forced to leave early.

DeleteHad a few hours to kill this afternoon so decided to head over to Pioneer Spa at 1pm. For being such a small space it was PACKED as I was leaving, not sure there was even enough room for the amount of guys. A nice mix of young and old, Korean regulars, a few white guys. I walked in on a Latin guy giving head to a horse-hung older dude, which was a bit shocking as it wasn't as discreet as it should have been considering the comments about the owner cracking down on this. Got a bodyscrub, it was amazing.

DeleteThe scrub was EXCELLENT. You are draped at the beginning when you are face up, but he would reposition and lift/replace throughout the scrub until the end, where you are completely uncovered. He was pretty firm, not too hard, but also not light in terms of touch. But there was a softness to his touch, it was almost nurturing if that makes sense, caring. Covered the entire body, I felt like a baby after it was over lol. Definitely worth the price and I was happy to tip well. Hearing stories about scrubbers cutting the session short irks me, that was not the case here.
DeleteSpa Palace is opening back up according to their website on May 1st! However I remember Spa Palace not being cruisy at all (even on the Spa Review here). No place to play really. Their website says the steam sauna will be closed and their indoor swimming pool also :(. At least things are opening back up again! RIP Wilshire Spa though

Went to Pioneer today. Pretty crowded with mostly guys there to cruise and a couple older Koreans. There were also a couple of those nervous "shy" dudes that are obviously there to cruise or experiment or whatever, but they stay covered up and basically ruin the experience for everyone else that's there to play discreetly. If you're not ready to be honest and open with yourself, please stay home. Some of us are trying to get our dicks sucked.

If you find someone that interested go do it privately where nobody can see. You need to relax, not everyone is gay at Korean spas, and you ruin the reputation of them by making them gay bathhouses. Awful. Go back to Midtowne Spa

ReplyDeletei went on yesterday and for the most part it seemed like everything was back to normal. there was some light playing in the warm (clay?) room and out in the patio because the steam room was broken which was annoying. the owner went around telling ppl that we don't have to wear masks in the rooms, meaning we only need to wear mask when we're in the common area/moving from one room to another. all in all, it was a relaxing visit.

ReplyDeletei think it depends on the spa. most ppl, if not everyone, at century were wearing masks, but it might be because the owner was around. i think it's hard for spas to enforce the mask policy in the wet area, so unless the owner is around, i don't think anyone would say anything about not wearing a mask.

ReplyDeleteWent to Wi. Everything was open. It was like two Korean guys, one hot straight dude, and a whole bunch of gays. There were a few creepy gays that even made me kinda uncomfortable. Like get a hint dude. There was one guy who had a Prince Albert who was erect the entire time and stroking his penis. Nobody was interested at all. At one point a whole bunch of gays were in the dry sauna with a married straight man and this Prince Albert guy felt the need to announce that he's a security guard at Staples Center and loves seeing straight guys naked in the locker rooms. The one straight guy that was in the sauna immediately got out, walked straight to the lockers, put his clothes on and left. I left about 40 minutes later and this poor guy was out in the lobby probably waiting for his wife so that he could leave. So this man felt so uncomfortable that he had to remove himself and who knows if he will ever be back again. That's so messed up. People should have the freedom to relax at the sauna/spa without feeling like they're being sexualized. It's fine to play around with consenting people and even take a few glances at the hot straight men, but don't fucking cross the line. Stop touching yourself and getting hard in front of guys you know aren't interested. I'm gonna start calling people out in front of other people. I don't give a fuck. Behave yourselves.

DeletePersonally, I love the spas and it is a treat for me when i get to go to one (I live far away from the sps and i am into Asian guys). I also like the spas for what they are intended to be; a place to relax. Guys should be mindful that it is not place in Palm Springs or Club 1350. There are men there who are not looking for sex as well as fathers with children! Tolerance cuts both ways .....no? Please be mindful and respectful of others.
Also, keep the owners of these places in mind who are struggling to keep their spa open and make money; we dont need to ruin it!
Has anyone been back to Imperial Health Spa in Garden Grove? Any update on if the same scrubber is still there? those were great scrubs.
