NOTE: I started a new post because the other one was getting too full of comments! So use this one instead.
I decided to create this post specifically so you guys can post in the comments if you're looking for someone to go to a spa with, or meet up there, or whatever... makes it a lot easier than going through all the previous posts to see if people have posted there. So if you're planning to go and want to meet people there, you can post (or look) here instead!
A few guidelines...
(1) Post some information about yourself...physical description, age, ethnicity, interests and hobbies... I really don't care. I'm not going to force you to reveal everything about yourself, but I'm not going to drive all the way to Koreatown to hang out with someone that I know absolutely nothing about.
(2) Sign your name, nickname, user name, whatever you make up to identify yourself. It makes it a lot easier to reply to you, as opposed to "hey, third person to reply to this comment"
(3) Be specific...
- GOOD: "I'll be at Century Spa from 7pm-11pm tonight (Dec. 21), wearing a black digital sports watch and my key on my left ankle. And carrying a green water bottle."
- BAD: "I'll be at Century Spa tonight. I'm the guy with a towel. Say hi!"
(4) If you want to talk to someone privately, leave some kind of contact information! It can be a blogger profile that you're logged into, an adam4adam or dudesnude profile, your email address, whatever. One idea is to post something on Craigslist... when you do that, they give you a throwaway temporary email address that forwards to your own email... it's useful if you don't want to post your email address here.
(5) Maybe make some mention of your expectations. If you're looking to jerk off (or more), say so. If you absolutely don't want to do anything sexual and just want to hang out nude with other guys, say so. Not everyone is going there for the same thing.
(6) Be respectful. Don't be racist, ageist, etc... Remember that this isn't your private home, and you can't just tell a certain class of people that they're not welcome.
Thank you for the blog I am making my rounds now I went to Imperial Spa Fullerton , very slow night no real icandi, all the saunas were too hot and no place to play. I will try it again.

ReplyDeleteI've been there right around that time on several occasions. It's almost always slow there, but there will probably be at least 2 or 3 other guys. In my experience, the late-afternoon crowd starts leaving around 6:00 or so but more guys usually get there around 7:00 if you're willing to hang out for a couple of hours.

ReplyDeleteI have gotten massages from three different male therapists at CJ Grand in Hermosa. The quality varies. I think the older Korean gentleman does the best work. There is also a younger Latino guy who seems to be fairly new at massage but does a pretty good job.

DeleteI've seen several guys getting a body scrub at CJ Grand in Hermosa, and almost every time the guy was hard. That includes at least one straight guy who was definitely not there to play around.

DeleteYeah I've always been covered at CJ Hermosa. But my body scrubs have always been done by the Latino guy. Maybe when someone else does it it's not covered? Or maybe the commenter just meant that he saw guys hard during the brief period when the scrubbee was not covered (like when he just flipped over)
Deleteyeah, possible. It could be really up to the person that was giving the scrub. But out of the several time I was there, I have never seen any guys getting the scrub. Its very different in Century Spa, the few times I got it there, they usually have 2 to 3 guys in the room at the same time.

DeleteHow was the crowd tonight? Seems like the last few times I've been to Century it's been the same 10 guys there. I don't go that often, so they must be there every night! Anyways, the first couple of times I went there I had a great time, but lately I've been kinda disappointed.
DeleteThe crowd was ok. There were a few really hot guys there. And a few not so hot guys. I had some opportunity to play... Met this guy in the hot tub and moved it to the patio. Again there were guys inappropriately jerking off when nobody else was interested. And a creepy guy in the meditation room who was staring at me and playing with himself while I was trying to rest (and ignore him)

DeleteI have been once and it was just okay, I won't go back unless stranded in the Valley with a few hours to kill, although a naked 23 year old 6 foot tall Latino is the kind of scenery an old troll like me enjoys. CJ-N might be a good start if you are nervous about going alone since it is nice, small and not that busy, not cruisey like Century, has a nice jacuzzi, nothing too wild going on for a first timer(unless you read the later comments). You can work your way up to Century or Wi Spa which are still my favorites.

Wi Spa includes the jimjilbang for FREE on Tuesday so it is usually crowded with all ages and families. Century or Wilshire may be more relaxing on a Tuesday night with better scenery and no kids. I like Wi Spa and Century the best of the K Spas I have been to so far.

Sounds like Lions Spa on Pico across from Lowes is the place for a Fathers Day meet up. I have been meaning to check it out since I saw photos of Lions on the Spa Junkie site and it was much nicer looking than I have heard

ReplyDeleteThe best spa in town is hands down Beverly Hot Springs.. Pricier and hit or miss for sex appeal but the waters are artesian, so silky and it has that 70's bathhouse vibe that is so good for the soul..

Deletewhat clean and good looking spa.. i was impressed with the herbal steam!! definitely felt the detox.. nice mix of traditional/cosmopolitan crowd, and not too cruisey (tho the eye candy was great)

I happen to think the scrub at Lion's Spa is amazing. It's $35 for entrance and scrub and the guy does amazing job -- e x t r e m e l y thorough.

I tried Natura Sunday night with the Groupon after an afternoon of $3 Cape Cods at the $3 cookout at the Roosterfish in Venice. I was feeling grubby and wanted to steam out the booze and beef from my burger. A little hard to find the parking lot and entrance since they are not actually at 3240 Wilshire but on S New Hampshire Avenue to the West of the lobby entrance at rear (south of Wilshire Blvd, north of 7th Street).
DeleteA little on the claustrophobic side since it is small and in the basement. No vaulted ceilings with a mural of the sky like Century. Loved the cooling room and the scented steam.
Very nice, clean, modern and quiet. No annoying music but there is a TV in the dry sauna (Korean with English captions).
10 guys or more from 8 pm to 10 pm. Mixed crowd but no cruising vibe except for guy that needs to read the "Spa Etiquette" section and not try to grab my dick when I am sitting on the edge of the jacuzzi cooling off. I think my limp dick should have expressed my lack of interest in him but I did state "No thanks, we're not at the FLEX" so he then got out of the jacuzzi, showered and left.
I will give Natura another try with my other Groupon to see how Natura is at another day & time. FREE 3 hours parking with validation in large, fenced surface lot behind 3240 Wilshire
