Wi Spa Pricing and Discounts

I was at Wi Spa earlier this week and there were signs up about changes to their admission discount pricing. Starting May 1, the following will be in effect:

- Tuesday admission will go up from $15 to $20. This also applies to Senior Thursdays, and the birthday discount.

- Wi will no longer offer the discounted "Sauna Only" admission.

On the plus side, there's a good deal on their website: You can buy 10 spa passes for $150. The catch is that you have to buy it through the website and it takes 24 hours for it to process, at which point you can pick it up at the front counter. But when you pick it up, you get 10 individual passes. Presumably, you can share them.

Usually the main reason I go to places other than Wi is because of Wi's pricing. But now that it works out to $15 a pop, I will definitely go more often. And I can share passes with friends that come with me!

  1. I've never been to Wi Spa, but how much was the 'Sauna Only' entrance? Either way, buying the passes for $150 sounds like a good deal to me, maybe I will visit now.

  2. I was at Wi Spa last night using up a Groupon. Empty enough that I could self park in the lot and didn't notice the signs but I can't wear my glasses in the wet area and there was no line in the lobby for a change so I didn't get to stand there and read their postings. It was very peaceful last night, kind of dead from 7:45 to 10:45 pm.
The Spa Only Entrance was $20 the last time I went without a Groupon or on a night that was not the Tuesday $15 Special. I rarely get dressed and go upstairs to the jimjilbang so having to pay full price just to use the Men's Spa seems too much. Will just stick with Groupons or Tuesday Special when it is mobbed.

  3. Wi Spa is by far the most popular spa in So Cal. It's actually kind of amazing to go there when it's super busy and you are surrounded by DOZENS of dudes who have no problem walking around naked, hanging out naked, etc. I bet they pay a small fortune on water bills and the cost of constantly laundering towels & robes all day every day. So in a way I'm not surprised their rates are going up. The website offer that works out to $15 per visit is an amazing deal, IMHO, especially since that is pretty much the lowest price for any spa around here.

  4. How much is it on Wednesday afternoon?crowded? Are the tons of kids in men's section? Does this cater to non Asian, or am i going to staND out?

  5. $20 at the moment. Crowded? Maybe? Depends on if school is out but probably not most weekday afternoons. Kids on Friday during "Family Day" and weekends. I went on a Wednesday night recently and it was kid-free! About half and half most of the time. Tuesday special brings in more non-Asians. You will only stand out if you wear the jimjilbang shorts in the wet areas or if you look amazing naked!

  6. $15 voucher good for Wi Spa admission through June 30, 2016 on TravelZoo website. Spa Palace, too, valid through July 5, 2016, but not valid holiday weekends, like 4th of July weekend.
