Sweat out the old, soak in the new!

As I've done a couple of times before, let's do a New Years Day spa meetup!

When: January 1, Noon until night time.
Where: Century Spa

Don't wear a towel and let it all hang out!

  1. I have been meaning to ask if you planned to hold your New Year's Day meet up for 2016. Thanks for the invite, I hope to make it again this year.

    1. There will be plenty of guys there. Even if I don't stay that late, Century is pretty busy on Jan 1.

  3. There's been good encouragement on here for the "no towel" experience at Century, but for the most part, it never happens. But I went early (before noon) last week and for the first time, almost no one was wrapped up in a towel. Now,there were only about 7 people there, but it was so much nicer just being naked, as the spa experience should be. And yes, there was an erection spotted, but guess what, the world did not end. No one cared.

    1. I never wear a towel at Century. Others have posted that they're nervous about being the only one not wearing a towel, but seriously, nobody cares. I don't get strange looks for it. I occasionally run into friends there and I have normal conversations with them and they don't seem overly distracted by my exposed penis.

    2. I do not like to wear a towel at Century (or any spa), but I have found that a lot of times, I am the only one, as well, and end up putting the towel on because of being the only one, but the other morning was different and it was great to see others doing the same. Even though I don't care for Lions Spa, I've noticed that more, and even most, do not wear towels there.

    3. I rarely go to Century but I am used to having no towel or carrying a small towel like at Wi Spa or Spa Palace which is common at the more traditional K spas, etc... I saw no guys wearing a towel on my one and only visit to Lions but I did use the robe once since you have to walk through the lobby to get to the men's restroom (WTF?)
I have mentioned before that on a visit to Century I didn't realize the old lady at the front only gave me 2 small towels and no large towel so I just walked around without instead of getting dressed and going back out to get a large towel from her. Nobody noticed and nobody cared but being 50 and chunky often gives me the power of invisibility at Century. Which is great for watching the others misbehave :)

    1. I'll "try" but sometimes the towel has a mind of it's own. :)
I just prefer to carry it instead of wear it.

  5. I'll be heading over to Wi Spa Sunday afternoon. i'm totally shaved smooth and would love to see other smoothies too. Anyone interested?

  6. So Wi Spa on Sunday afternoon was fairly full, mostly hairy types that were au' natural and not even trimmed. I was disappointed until one thin, cute lean Asian guy came in, pubes totally shaved and he made my visit worthwhile. I admired his smooth body and I think he mine, but alas, we never touched. Then an 'older' tall, white guy, bald look, came in and he had the nicest, big, floppy cut cock that I wanted to suck so bad, but could only sit and fantasize. Love going to spas on weekends! Next time I'll be a tad bolder.

    1. What does any of this have to do with the New Year's Day Recovery Soak that our blogger has posted in this section?
I think you should have posted below to get a better response for your Wi Spa "Sunday Shavers" meet up.
I am rarely the only shaved guy at Wi Spa but did notice more "Winter" body hair on my recent visit for the Tuesday night $15 Special.
Oh, by the way, Wi Spa isn't really an "action spa" like Century so don't offend the traditional K Spa crowd.

    2. I guess you're right - I should have posted below. And I understand Wi isn't an action spa like Century and that is what I like! I want to be around/meet other naked in a less-cruisey setting. And trying to get more "shavers" to show up.

  7. Finally went to Century yesterday afternoon for the NYD Recovery Soak, arriving around 4:45 pm. Underground parking busy but not full. Had an old 2014 $5 off coupon from some website that I got old lady at counter to take. She hesitated but asked if it was my first time so I said "Yes" and then she gave me the "no underwear,no swimsuits, you must be naked" speech and I got in for $15. She did not give or offer the jimjilbang uniform even though the coupon was for the full admission. She also said "we are very busy so there is 3 hour limit". Not sure if that was true or how I would know when to check out since she did not give me an exit time.

Busy crowd but not crazy. At times I felt like I was at WeHo or Santa Monica Sports Connection (now 24 Hour Fitness) prior to them ripping out the naked steam room, Jacuzzi and saunas. Lots of old familiar faces even if I don't actually know them. Fat, hairy Cuban troll from WeHo gym cruising just like he always did and giving a blowjob to some guy in steam room when I walked in the first time.

I spent most of my time in the hot tea soak and the medium warm big Jacuzzi. No sign to "Do Not touch the fucking bell" that I noticed when I went to empty patio to cool down after the young manager did a walk through. The clay and marble room still seem to be cold and useless unless you want to cool down or fool around. I think I interrupted something happening on the floor the only time I went to the clay room.
Grossest thing I saw was two guys, like younger Bill Cosbys, in the eucalyptus room. The older (50's) was fingering the hole of the younger (40's) and stroking himself. They were hidden from most views on the bench on the heater side of the room. If only the eucalyptus steam could spray into my eyes and temporarily blind me but I can't un-see that.

There was a real mix of guys in all ages, shapes and sizes. I wasn't the oldest or the fattest troll there. About 75 percent of the guys wore the big towels and about 25 percent
carried them as instructed by our Spa blogger. I carry since I am used to the small towels at the real K Spas and the towel barely wraps around this fat old man. The only time I wore my towel was when I went out to the patio to sit on the cold wooden bench. The door to the Eucalyptus room was off balance and scraped the tile floor every time someone went in or out. Really annoying and hopefully won't cause damage to the door or shatter it. Everything else was working except for one shower at the end by the scrub room. Century was much cleaner and the attendants were constantly working to restock everything.

I liked Century more than on my last visit, maybe due to the scenery from the tubs so I may start visiting more often. It is not a relaxing K Spa like Wi or Spa Palace but it does provide a cleaner, nicer bath house than the FLEX or others. HAPPY NUDE YEAR!
